February 8, 2013 – VBC South Hall

The 24th annual Greater Huntsville Humane Society Dog Ball – “Disco Down with the Hounds” will be held on Friday, February 8 in the VBC South Hall. The VID (Very Important Dog) lineup promises to be a show stopping spectacular consisting of all types of dogs with their own stories and humor. As you enter the South Hall, you will be greeted by disco tunes beginning at 5:45 PM as the silent auction springs to action and the VIDs are waiting for the guests of the Ball to come visit them in the Mattress King VID (Very Important Dogs) Lounge while they prepare themselves for their runway debut! Dinner will begin at 7:15 PM and the presentation of the dogs will begin at 8PM. In addition to the beloved pet companions, there will be a presentation of shelter dogs looking for forever homes to call their own.

AMERICAN Flow Control, one of world’s largest manufacturers of fire hydrants, has generously donated five fire hydrants that local artists will paint with whimsical creativity.
